We are a Yorkshire based security company, however our security services are available throughout the United Kingdom.

No, although we are proud of our corporate client porfolio - there is no job too small for us.

All our security engineers and administration staff have to be vetted by the Police authority PNC, and are also subject to an independent DBS check. We carefully select our staff based on their experience, demeanour and expertise.

Vador have an ongoing training policy for all members of staff to make sure we keep up to date with new products, new legislation and policy within the security industry. Being ISO9001 and also a member of Safe Contractor all staff are regularly Inspected, both in house and on sites.

Yes, your alarm allows for full setting, part setting and night setting, you control which areas you are free to move around in your home such as upstairs whilst the ground floor is alarmed.

Yes, we can offer pet friendly sensors. These can be set to suit your home or business.

How long will it take for an alarm to be installed in my property?

It can differ depending on the installation requirements but on average we estimate it will take our engineers a day to fully install a standard alarm system.

Alarm monitoring of your premises requires an active phone line. The risk of vulnuerable phone lines can be overcome by adopting a dual signalling method such as IP Signalling and DualCom, which uses the GPRS network if the landline fails.

Yes, all the alarm systems we install come with a full 12 month parts and labour guarantee - this is governed by the standards set by the SSAIB. After this time we offer maintenance packages for your ongoing peace of mind.

Yes, we can sevrice and maintain any alarm system - evem systems installed by other alarm companies.

Yes, we will happily visit your property even if we didn't fit the alarm. There is a charge for this service on a call-out then an hourly rate on all additional hours.

For us to give you a quote, we would need to carry out an on site survey. This would allow us to get better understanding of your requirements, and advise you on any potential vulnerabilities.

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) is an independent organisation established by the Government under the terms of the Private Security Industry Act 2001. The SIA's aim is to protect society by working in collaboration to develop high standards of professionalism and service throughout the private security industry. To this end the SIA introduced supplier accreditation in the form of the Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS). The ACS accreditation mark enables procurers of private security services to distinguish between potential suppliers quickly and accurately. It provides assurance that the accredited provider has met a clearly defined and independently assessed set of quality standards throughout their business.

SSAIB stands for Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board. This is an independent, not for profit approvals body providing inspection services for the security and fire industries.

SSAIB has been protecting the customer through insisting on the highest standards and operating the toughest inspection regime, Companies are inspected regularly by highly qualified full time inspectors, to prove their ongoing delivery of the highest standards. SSAIB's Customer Care support process reinforces the reliability and integrity of the companies it inspects. Yes and these are free of charge and you are under no obligation, it's our job to find the solution that is right for you.

Yes we recommend that you have your alarm system serviced every year to make sure it is fully functional and has no hidden problems.

Yes we aim to hide all cables wherever possible. There is occasionally times when this isn't possible but our installers work closely with the client to ensure they are fully happy with the install.

We can open most locks, non destructively and aim to repair not replace locks to keep the cost down.

Times can vary depending on the job for example, a mortice lock change on average would take around 45 minutes, but a Yale lock could be repaired or replaced with in 20 minutes.

Yes all our Locksmiths / Engineers carry a comprehensive range of locks and associated security parts on our fleet of well stocked vans. If the locksmith does not have the correct part required for the job - they will arrange a second as soon as possible and at a time convenient for the client.

No, you will only get charged for one call out and time on site. Any extra time required will be simply charged at an hourly rate.

We can only gain entry with the owner's permission.
